At 21 months, Jane is still crawling. I think she may crawl forever. Why else would she constantly wear shoes on her feet AND her hands? Silly Goose.
Life is too short to overlook those things most meaningful. This is about cherishing and remembering the ones we love.

I love my Ivie. She has spunk and spice. Lots of it. Sometimes I don't know what I'm going to do with her. This week, she dialed 911 and and a policeman ended up on our doorstep, she leaned FAR over the bed of Wes's truck as it was traveling 35 mph (about giving me a heart attack), and she wore swimwear to school as an accessory (her style resembles Punky Brewter). We had a nice little chat about how if 911 appears within ANY number, it will dial the police. I chased Wes down the street after seeing Ivie risk her life and when I finally caught up, Ivie was required to get out of the back and into the cab of the truck. There she will ride for a LONG time to come. And she came home from school NOT wearing the swimwear, so she must have figured that one out on her own. Wheew.

Norah and Lia. Opposite personalities for sure, but are learning to be sweet little friends! Bold Norah is learning to give quiet Lia some space, and Lia has become comfortable with how Norah operates. There is not much in life sweeter than little girls!
A woolly mammoth. In recent years, the rock has chipped away, but our friends said it was definitely an elephant-like animal with a trunk. How would our Indian friends 800 years ago know about woolly mammoths OR elephants?
Are we crazy parents to take our 3 year old on this ladder surrounded by cliffs? The people in our tour group seemed to think so, but were so helpful and kind. The gentleman next to me climbed back down the ladder to cheer on scared Norah and offer his help.
"Cliff Palace" ruin at Mesa Verde NP. Over 100 rooms and many, many kivas (underground rooms thought to have been gathering places for ceremonies).
