8 Months

I've decided that babies create a safe, peaceful haven in my life. Much of the day I have my to-do list on my mind and get ansy to check things off, but I'm always able to put the to-do's aside during the minutes and hours spent rocking and cuddling with my babies. It is theraputic to let everything else go for a moment (many times a day) while I nurture my baby and myself in the rocking chair. I love it and will miss it when it's gone. I wonder if I'll be one of those mothers that rocks their last baby until age 10...

I totally agree. There is something about rocking your baby that allows you to forget about all the thoughts taking up way to much space in your brain.

She is adorable. I can't wait to squeeze her in person.

She is adorable. And 8 months already?! She looks a little like Caleb to me in some of these pics... and I am glad you get so much joy from the time in the rocking chair!
We miss you guys! Happy fall!

I was thinking today of how much I will miss babies in our home. They are the best thing in the world. She is beautiful!

I will follow you example and rock my babies 'til they graduate. Lia asked me the other day to hold her... I willingly accepted the invitation, it was heavenly.

McKinzi will be 10 next June and I still rock her and sing to her at bedtime. :) Motherhood is the best! You are the best mother.

I couldn't agree more. Kade is now 8 months. Such fun!
Those pictures are adorable. Who does she look more like? I can't decide. So cute - and love the color of her eyes. They're beautiful.
